My Google Reader Shared Items for July 4th through July 7th:

  • WPtouch: Mobile Plugin + Theme for WordPress ↔ BraveNewCode Inc. – Guess it’s time to make my blog and the school site mobile friendly. Add this to the summer to do list :)
  • Schoology – Your digital classroom – Just ran across this via @markwagner’s blog at www.edtechlife.com. This looks very interesting and at first glance appears to be a blend of Moodle and ELGG (though likely proprietary source code). • Google Voice Blog – Finally got my invite and have signed up for Google Voice. I went ahead and subscribed to the feed so that I can keep up on the evolving changes with this exciting product.
As an aside, I can see this being a great way to manage student audio work samples. Simply have them call in to the number and record their audio sample (foreign language, response, etc.) and you then have a saved transcript of the response. Pretty cool.
  • Gmail: Tips – Comprehensive guide to becoming a Gmail Ninja. Tons of tips on managing email, productivity & saving time for beginners to advanced users.
  • Making Audioboo locations private -
